I have a strong passion for identifying problems and building software solutions. I work hard to find the best solution to every problem and take great pride in the quality of my work. I have experience in Android Programming, Web Programming, Machine Learning, Computer Vision and Team Programming. Working in groups has helped me gain an appreciation for a diversity of coding styles, and has helped me improve my own code and integrate it with others. I enjoy the thrill of coding and solving problems. I will work my hardest every day to produce quality code and real solutions.
I was born in the UK, and at the age of 11 moved to central Virginia where I helped my family raise free-range pigs. Every Saturday morning I got up at 5:30 to sell our pork at a farmers market in Richmond. I attended Governor's School at Southside Virginia Community College and graduated high school in 2012 with an Associate's degree in Pre-Engineering. Following high school, I served a full-time, two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Rochester, New York. I then contiued my education, and graduated in Computer Science at Brigham Young University. Afterwards I worked at Sunstone Engineering as a software engineer for two years.
GPA 3.8, graduated top ten percent of class
In high school I took dual enrollment community college classes which enabled me to graduate with my Associates Degree with my High School Diploma.
I created Android Applications in Java for android tablets that communicate with firmware boards that control various welding machines. I collaborated with teams of software engineers, mechanical engineers and electrical engineers.

Researched concepts involving Machine Learning and Computer Vision. Held weekly meetings with the BYU CS department and wrote academic papers. Created programs that analyzed photos and implemented artificial intelligence.
Conducted weekly review sessions to meet individual and group needs. Collaborated with professors on creation and grading of assignments. Tutored students one on one on debuging of code and explaination of coding concepts (received high reviews)
